Empowering the Future through Education
Scholarship Application Instructions
Background
Bee Fabulous Moments, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, was established in memory to honor the life and legacy of Bronwyn “Bee” Antoinette Greene Richards, who was a victim of domestic violence. The sudden death of Bronwyn had a devastating effect on her family and friends, especially her mother and two children. Her untimely death was the inspiration for the organization. Bee Fabulous Moments will bring to life Bee’s expression of love by providing fabulous moments that offer encouragement, comfort, and refuge to domestic violence survivors and their children. Our goal is to create Fabulous Moments that will turn trauma to triumph.
Children who are exposed to domestic violence often face significant obstacles in their educational journey, including lower academic achievement and reduced opportunities for higher education compared to their peers who do not experience such violence. While specific percentages can vary based on region and study, the gap in access to higher education remains an area of concern and underscores the importance of targeted support and scholarships.
Bee Fabulous Moments, seek to close that educational gap to higher learning by offering scholarship assistance to students who have been impacted by domestic violence.
